The Horsemans Ranch homesites range in size between 5 and 10 acres. The sites vary in terms of the following:

• Views
• Land topography and drainage
• Pasture types
• Quantity of trees
• Existing stock tanks (ponds) or stock tank capable
• Seasonal creeks

Ultimately your homesite is a personal choice. However a good rule of thumb on size (5 or 10 acres) is 1 horse per acre of grazing. Our deed restrictions allow 2 horses per acre, but we recommend less. Some of our customers rarely pasture their horses and prefer to utilize stalls and runs. These customers, for instance, might prefer a more wooded, secluded lot or one with a dramatic view.
